The AirHMI Panel PC 7" Ethernet Capacitive is an enclosed, plug-and-play HMI operator panel that runs on the same 24V line as the PLC and field devices. The 7-inch, 800 × 480 display is the most popular size for machine and panel applications; it comfortably shows menus, values and charts on a single screen.
RS485 and Modbus RTU are standard; it communicates directly with devices such as PLCs, drives and meters. Via the Ethernet connector it joins the network over TCP/IP with DHCP, making it suitable for remote monitoring and passing data to higher-level systems. Its glass-fronted capacitive touch responds to a light touch and gives a modern look.
Capacitive touch suits applications used without gloves where the front appearance matters, such as building automation, HVAC and smart building panels, kiosks and information displays. Since it does not work with ordinary work gloves, the resistive version is the better choice in workshops and in the field; the differences are explained in our resistive vs. capacitive touch guide.
The screen shown in the images is a sample production line monitoring (OEE) interface; the interface is designed entirely for your project.
