The AirHMI Panel PC series offers fast installation and reliable communication in industrial applications. It runs on the same 24V supply as the PLC; RS485 and Modbus support is standard, and Ethernet models connect to the network via TCP/IP with DHCP. It can be integrated with SmartIO Modbus 8R4D4A and SmartIO ProPLC.

The Panel PC is the enclosed, 24 VDC version of the AirHMI display; RS485 and Modbus are standard and it mounts plug-and-play in a control cabinet. AirHMI displays are open-frame boards powered from 5 VDC and are integrated into your own enclosure or device.
The Panel PC is made in 5" and 7" sizes. The 7" model is available with resistive or capacitive touch, and both sizes have an Ethernet version.
Ethernet models connect to the local network via TCP/IP and DHCP, so data can be exchanged over the network in addition to the RS485 line.
It works with PLCs, drives and field devices that support Modbus RTU over RS485. SmartIO Modbus modules can be connected to the same line to add inputs and outputs.
The interface is designed with drag and drop in the free AIRHMI Designer software and loaded onto the device.
